Randomness

Josiah is 4 weeks old today and life seems to be smoothing out once again.  He's been sleeping better again and hasn't been as fussy these last few days.  He even gave us his first smile last night!  I wish I had caught it on video but just missed it.  Oh well, there's plenty of cuteness to be had.  We've been busy these past several days...

Here's a glimpse of Josiah learning to be more content in his bouncy chair.  Well, at least until he spit up...

On Saturday afternoon we attended a Christmas party for the department that Ashish works for at SU.  I am consistently touched by how family friendly his boss is (similar to mine which is another huge blessing).  Phase 1 (of 3) of the party was located at Chuck E. Cheese which was a thrill for Priya and the other kids who attended.

Priya continues to love being a big sister and loves every chance she gets to snuggle with her baby brother.
The Peterson family (minus Chriss) dropped by for a visit this weekend.  It's always a blessing to spend time with these dear friends.
Josiah has really taken to his pacifier and this is one area that Priya has decided to regress as well.  She found some of her old pacifiers and wanted to get in on the sucking action.
Mom and Dad Penner joined us for dinner on Sunday night and Priya, as usual, had a blast.  I hope she doesn't hold this video against me in the future...

On Monday we ventured out to GPS Group (God's Preschoolers - a mom's group at Neighborhood Church).  Priya made some new friends and was excited to see Bella and Lucy there as well with their new baby sister, Georgia, who was born just one week after Josiah.  Priya and Lucy are only a month apart as well!  Below is a pic of two proud big sisters, Priya and Bella,  holding their new baby siblings.

Priya was eager to share her room with Josiah on Monday evening so we enjoyed some tummy time and some infant friendly fun together.  In the background, Priya is playing a CD that came with a Disney Ariel book that she recently received as a gift (thanks Polishchuk family!).

  1. I am so glad that you post videos - your kids are adorable. I take a lot of videos but it takes so long to upload. So glad Josiah is doing better.

  2. So fun to see Priya "playing" with him. I love that you are enjoying being a mommy to 2 so much.
