Since I didn't post for about a year there's a lot that I missed. One thing that I need to document - even if it's out of order - if Priya's first day of Kindergarten and Josiah's first day of preschool! It also happened to be Ashish's first day of school - of his last semester of the RN program! So it was a big day for our family!
Priya is wearing a uniform to school this year so she has to wear collared shirts, skirts/pants, dresses, etc. It definitely makes picking out an outfit a lot easier in the morning.

Priya is in Mrs. Keener's Kindergarten class. She started out as 1 of 2 girls in her class, but Marin ended up moving and now Priya is in a class with 14 other boys! It's an interesting combination and she misses her friend, but she is doing great and loves her class! She is in school M-F from 8:30-2:30. She has learned to enjoy doing her homework and does her best to fight frustration with tasks that are somewhat difficult. She has spelling tests at the end of each week and usually comes home proudly proclaiming that she got 100%. She is a budding reader and is quickly learning to recognize and sound out words around her.
Josiah is in Miss Ila's class. He is nuts about his teacher and has created a tradition of snuggling with her for a bit in the morning after I drop him off. He is going to school 3 days a week (typically from 8:30-2:30pm). Those are long days but he absolutely loves it! He is making good friends and the teachers say that he is ALWAYS good! I wish I could say the same at home... ;)
