New Experiences

Priya is lovin' life these days! She has graduated to sitting and eating in a high chair now and she LOVES it!

Fortunately the bowl was almost empty... :)

Priya has also graduated from bathing in the sink to the bathtub. She experienced her first bath in her ducky tub and had a blast in the process! It's so much fun to see her enjoying life so much!

Preparing To Say Goodbye...

Priya enjoys some bonding time with dada and dadi on the eve of their return trip to India.

Priya decided to dress up a little for her last night with dada and dadi.

Priya's dada and dadi will be returning to India tomorrow after 5 special months with us here in Redding. Ashish, Priya and I spent the final night with them to soak in a little bit more time before their departure. It was a bittersweet time...

One Small Step For Priya...

Today was a big day for Priya! It was the day she first experienced the world of real food! She has been rather challenging with feeding times as of late (oh the joys of teething) and after much consideration I decided to go for it and introduce her first serving of rice cereal. She did great! She seemed to know exactly what to do! She kept leaning forward in anticipation of more and really seemed to like it.
